May I suggest something?
You may want to use CSS for your links. You know, make them nicer looking?
Overall, I like the site already. Lots of MODs and more to come I'm sure.

Pretty nice. But as you said, almost nothing there- I had trouble telling exactly what it was for for a while there- thought it was an RF-FS2 conversion.

You must remember that its in the very early stages, Stryke. Maybe when they get more staff or as time goes by, it will look nicer. They always tend to. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Bah. Much rather have CSS than JavaScript or Java.
The page looks nice. Though the reds look a tad messy in places. But as long as you keep the green text away from it there's no bother (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
Ouch, the tables in the mod listing page look really bad. But I suppose they're not finished yet.

Actually, a good web site uses HTML, JavaScript, CSS and maybe PHP or ASP. But Java is a killer. Too many classes to learn.
Try reading the Java API. You would rather use it as toilet paper.

Argh, bad JPG compression!
So, what's wrong with CSS? (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)

There is nothing wrong with CSS. In fact, I think it is one of the best things that could happen to web design yet. I don't need to keep repeating the font tag. Just call the class from the external stylesheet and watch it work wonders.
Here's a good site for people who want to start learning Cascading Style Sheets.

Hey, careful with what you say...
I know it almost by heart - and you won't find a better API out there, specially for free. And with the support Java has. And with the portability. And with the performance. And as easy to use. In less words, Java rocks. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)
