Title: GTA, PVN and GTVA 'symbol' art request

I was wondering if any of the arty people here know where I could find good-quality, 256x256 pngs of the FS2 symbols with an alpha channel.  My art-fu is absurdly weak, and I couldn't make it myself.

You should be able to find an original of the symbols in the Volition VP files somewhere, but you'd need to convert their formats to a 32-bit format and then convert the surrounding space into alpha, but I'm not sure how to do that.

Okay, I extrated some GTA, PVN and GTVA icon-y things from FS2 and the FS1Port... and they're really poor quality.  The GTA one in particular has bits of icky green and yellow all over the 'band', and it looks terrible.  I'm not sure how to clean it up...

Don't use the squadron insignias.  Use the CBanis.

That's not such a bad idea! :)

EDIT: does the GTVA symbol occur anywhere that *isn't* on top of the black/green background?  I've been having problems extracting images off that without damage.
