Title: America: culture of capitolism
Post by: Bobboau on March 18, 2006, 02:15:52 pm
this was an anthropolicalogical annalisis of American culture in terms of our ecconomic system I did a few months ago, just ran acrost it and thought it would be good for starting a thread with. it breifly annalises how American society works with capitolism as a main driveing force, it deals exclucively with internal cultural elements so I don't go into how America works on the globbal stage.

Citations! Citations! (just bugin' ya ;) )

Personally I find the anthro opinions of those in non-western cultures on US society a bit more interesting, as they can give a quite different portrait.
