With a great deal of work contracted out to the FS community, much remains. These include shield icons, minor fixes on models, as well as texturing and conversions. A list is below.
-SFg Mahakala texturing* (*currently Snipes) and conversion
-SJ Bozrah texturing and conversion (current model being turreted by Sandwich)
-GTC Tyr conversion (Shrike has finished .3ds file)
-LCa Vijharot conversion (turreting may be required)
-"Tower of Babel" turret rework and conversion
-GTCa Balius turret adjustment (move one misplaced turret onto hull), turret firing points, final .pof
-GTF Creon ship selection icon
-GTF Creon loadout screen
-GTF Creon ship selection image
(+)-GVF Yaaru turrets and model conversion
(+)-GVF Yaaru shield icon
(+)-GVF Yaaru ship selection icon
(+)-GVF Yaaru loadout screen
(+)-GVF Yaaru ship selection image
-Israfhan RFC weapon icon
-Israfhan RFC weapon selection image
-Maenad warhead weapon icon
-Maenad warhead weapon selection image
-Tyche ETS weapon icon
-Tyche ETS weapon selection image
+ Pending final model and textures (model/textures assigned)
Overall, all model meshes are finished, mostly conversions are required of .cobs which do not have proper turrets.
The rest are interface renders, except for the weapon icons which will require a new model done for them.
All interface art should be still, like the weapon loadout screens in the FS2 demo as well as in Twilight. (art should match this quality seamlessly, especially with the thickness/hue of the grid lines behind the ship or weapon in the selection images)
This is a lot of work for one man or woman, but if even a few are interested and can do up some of this in their spare time, then it can definately lighten the workload for everyone. (and allow for more high quality work in upcoming things!)

Looking at the things that need to be done for the campaign, its no wonder you need the FS community to help out.

Mainly conversions and shield icons which just some renders and photoshop work, so it's busy work not heavy modeling (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)
If anyone can help at all with this, it will definately lighten the load...
