Hi all,
Is there some way I can get my hands on the in-game briefing music, either by downloading or somehow exporting? I already downloaded Ancients, Numbers, Revelations, etc, but couldn't find the other briefing music. Thanks.

Go into Warble_FS2.VP with VP veiw (http://download.descent-network.com/descman/shared/dllpak.w32/dp2003.exe) . Extract them to anywhere. It has ALL FS2 music.

That worked. Thanks!
Just a note - the download link above is to the Descent Manager with all the relevant DLL files, not the actual VPview program, which can be found here: http://download.descent-network.com/descman/modules/vpview.w32/vpview13.exe

When I try to run vpview a error message comes out saying "Run time error 326. Resource with identifier 'VERSION' not found".
Can somebody help me?

VP view is a bit unstable... I recommend Quick VP (http://scp.indiegames.us/download.php?list.11) to extract the the music. I use it and haven't encountered any problems yet.

I use it too, as its the only program that will view or extract from the TBP Base VPs for me. Unfortunately, it DOES have a bug. It will sometimes try to extract the entire archive, if you're just trying to extract a few files.

Thats the reason I use it too

Really? Never noticed that... Then again, extract the all data and you don't have to touch the .vp ever again :D

Are you using VPView or VPView2.0 cause the former gives me no trouble whatsoever with the TBP VP.

I tried using VPview 2.0. I've never tried V1.3 (or any previous version) for anything. I think the TBP Base VP issues are because of what program is used to create them. I use vpcs2 to create the patch VP file and have no probs viewing it with 2.0.

It is worth remembering that VPView 2.0 is a beta version. :)

And has been for the past twenty years! :)

The original has more features and fewer errors, you don't really want it unless your some kind of sadist or somthing :wtf.
