Title: installing revenge translation

How do i install REvenge, the translation?

Is there a way I can package it into a .vp file so I can just put it in its own folder and run the -mod command line for it?

you can still use the Mod Command.. you need only to create a data folder in your Mod folder copy all mission folders and others in it and you can use the mod command on the Folder where you find data ;)

but it uses a modified ships.tbl and modified weapons.tbl files...

will it work with those files in the mod folder?

There is another thread in Freespace Campaigns which has updated table files to use if you're using the SCP, becuase they won't work right otherwise. You CAN get Revenge to work with the SCP but it still needs some translation works, it's a little like babelfish at the moment.

you can use VPMage (http://www.freespacezone.com/files/VPMage.rar) to compile VP files. :)
