AAAAGH!!!

Cool perspective dude! Too bad TS simulated lenses blow, but it makes it look a lot like the game perspective where everything is messed up at the sides (egg-shaped planets, etc.) 64 pseudopodia up!

Nice.

One thing you might try is to right-justify the text, might look better than center-justified.

Very impressive, but the perspective is (sorry) terrible, the ships are stretched and very weird looking (look at the bottom cruiser). Aside from that, w00t!  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Guess it's a matter of taste, I love those fisheye shots. Great work, the materials are perfect!  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Well, as much as you hate it, it's just the default perspective in TS. I guess I could render it from a different perspective view, but TS likes to stretch the ships, the closer they are to the camera.  Just wait until I make an action render again... Haven't done one of those in a while. Cheers  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

It is zoomed out, but I kinda like the look this way... It's everyone else who doesn't... so next render will be good. okie guys?

No, in TS there is zoom, and there is position. You have the camera positioned close to the scene, but zoomed out a great deal, so that it's beyond a wide-angle lens effect to the fishbowl effect. Do like Bobbou(sp? Arrrgh!) said and move the camera out while zooming in. ;)

But that's only if you want to get rid of the fishbowl effect - personally I don't mind it. :)

The textures get two thumbs up...  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

And personally, I like a dark, erie picture every once in a while... They don't ALL have to be brighter than cappella in the morning... or afternoon... evening.... or night for that matter...  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Ditto. Which is why I need to replace my monitor-it DOES look dark here.
