This is damn weird...
When I do a Google search on "TNOSC" (under Firefox), after a couple seconds a security certificate dialog pops up on the screen. Does this happen for anyone else?
-
No it doesn't, Firefox 1.5.0.1 Windows XP.
-
Ah, should have specified Firefox 1.0x. Nothing happens under IE either.
-
Nope. I got normal search results.
-
No it's just you. Someone is haxxoring your megahurtz.
-
I got it...
-
Doesn't happen in Firefox 2.0a (Bon Echo).
-
Hmm. Have you got some sort of pre-emptive link caching software installed? Opening the first link on the results from that search gets me a security certificate on Opera.
-
Nope, just bog-standard old version of Firefox. Happens at work and at home.
Well, it did happen at work. Was forced to upgrade to 1.5 and it doesn't happen anymore.

Sounds like the behaviour you get if you type it into the address bar rather than search sidebar or something.
