Title: first photoshop experience(250k img)

This image one conceived when i looked at a shot of the atlantis stargate and being reminded of the architecture of the knossos, while at the same time to looking at the image version on "Liberation" in the HLP Gallery. I know the coment is face but thats because I felt like messing up the color balance really bad. I hope despite that fact, you will enjoy it.

They say the first time is sometimes painfull, enjoyable, and with messy outcomes.
Too obvious?

Not too shabby mate. I think you nailed it though with your comment, the colour balance is outa wack. Try and smooth it over a bit, blur the edges even, and maybe dim or kill that lens flare.

lens flares = evil

i know it's awfully tempting to play with the filters, but the trick is, to figure out how to use them, but not to make it aparrent that you did.

This is what happens when O'Neill eats the local mushrooms without getting them checked first ;)

Lens Flares aren't evil, but they are overused, though I'll agree that the best way to use filters in PS is in moderation ;)
