Title: Required reading for FRED2

Hi.  I've been trying to learn how to use FRED2 and I was just wondering if there's anything I should read besides the documentation.  Any help would be appreciated.

Karajorma's FAQ is probably another good read, as it contains some helpful information.  You can find the link for it in his sig.

The best way to learn is through experimentation, and doing the walkthrough contained within the documentation is a good way to learn the basics.

Yep. I'd say that first you should do the walkthrough rather than just reading it. I'm a bit biased but I'd say that my FAQ should be your second stop after that (Especially if you're using FS2_Open. I don't think there is any other FRED documentation that covers the new features I do).
