It's about time. Is this only for future titles or does it apply retroactively to their existing games through patches or something?

This and telling EA to get lost is why Ubisoft rocks. Not to mention making and publishing some very good games

Excellent, i'll be able to buy Heroes of Might & Magic V without fear of my system being invaded by little Starforce gremlins. Score one for the casual gamer!

It's nice to see some publishers still care about their customers. I've always liked Ubisoft. :)

I was on the Heroes V forums and I posted a large number of comments and suggestion for the game.
After the horrible beta test and the Starforce affair,  Ijust left.

Ubi did the right thing - they removed Starforce and took extra time to fix all the bugs :D

Starforce was largely spyware anyway.
