they've got a cellphone/.22 also... I dunno, I think it kicks a lot of ass even if it is sorta odd.

Basically a weapon...a shotgun that's its intended to be.. a gun, hidden into a flashlight, well this will be something which people who aren't aware that a flashlight could be a gun could really get hurt, it has already happens with the pens, a flashlight will be even worse to make deadly accidents become incredible easier, JeDre gives a really good viewpoint:
If you can’t see the stupidity in this thing, God help you.
1- can’t shoot at what you light, unlike a .38 and a maglite.
2- turn it around to shoot - you’ve just lit YOURSELF. Brilliant.
3- .410 gauge is incorrect. Gauge is the number of shot in a round. .410 bore is correct.
4- evan a little .410 bore would be difficult to aim like a flashlight, and the kickback with this leverage would render it almost useless.
5- wikipedia tells me that a .410 is less effective against movign targets, and is used for rabbits and small game. Mall cop is right.
The more aware people is about this kind of weapons, the less accidents there will be, you can't just pretend it doesn't exist and don't tell anyone of such a weapon, specially if you know that if they aware and check that's it's not a flashlight and a weapon could save lives (in this case is more like prevent accidental deaths...)
-
That's completely idiotic. This is a far more effective combination of flashlight and gun:

So is a .22, a mini-mag and a roll of duct tape. Hell, the flashlight or the gun would be more useful by themselves.
-
So is anyone else thinking of that gun from the afemminate fashion designer (Bronson Pinchot) in (the horribly awful) Beverly Hills Cop 3?

Oh God that thing was f***ing awful.

Excelllent! If the world needs anything, it's easily concealeable lethal weaponry that can be carried in plain sight without fear of detection!
Waittasec.....

I'm surprised that the Dept. Homeland Security hasn't been round already.

Concealed weapons aren't the problem, it's dissent against the Government that can kill people!

Designed by cowards for cowards. Frickin' neat!

"I told you not to mess with my f***ing flashlight, foo!"

They've got a cellphone/.22 combo also... just in case you're really bored.

I'll stick with my tactical Surefire tactical flashlight. Somehow, I don't think this thing would survive a grenade explosion...or being dropped on concrete.

tactical Surefire tactical flashlight
It's tacticalicious!

Somehow I find a .22 in something the size of a cell phone both too weak and too inaccurate to be much danger to an actual target unless fired at point-blank range. All it'll do is get the user killed unless he manages to get a randomly lucky shot.

I'd imagine the point of a hidden gun is to get to point blank range.
-
"Let me hold my cell phone up to you and press buttons. Because surely it is not a gun"
I mean that point blank. Three feet would still be hit-or-miss.
-
Well, as long as you're shooting at somebody really stupid...

You might give them radiation poisoning by the time the gun is readied. Gotta watch out for those cellphones :D

Well, would you go
"Stop! I think that cell phone you are carrying is actually a cunningly concealed gun! You cad!"
to someone in the street who happens to brush against you carrying a phone?

A maglight is already a weapon. Guns are for pansys. >..>
