Background image is made by me. With some aid from a program named GIMP.

I'd shudder to think how it would be like to try get anything done if the icons were just spawned there automatically by "auto-arrange" function, which is one of the most irritating and unnecessary functions in WinXP. This way I have similar programs and applications on same region. Browsers on up right, other miscellaneus applications below them, categorically organized of course... :nervous:

Games on down left, cleaning stuff on down right. Media players on middle left. My Computer on up left and around it, all the crap that comes with HP WinXP computer around it... Including the Thrash Bin and Internet Exploder. (honestly, what's the idea with Thrash Bin? If you want to get rid of something for good, I press Shift-Del most of the time anyway. )

Of course the desktop itself actually extends to a television, but it's empty most of the time - I only watch videos through it. :p

Oh and in case you wonder, the multiple FSO/Inferno icons are actually *.bat command lines. Since the Launcher 5.3 likes to **** up with too long command lines, I just copy them down these days and make a separate *.bat for mods I use. It's easier than configuring things in launcher once, running the game, exiting the game and when I try to launch the launcher again to change a mod or other things, I have to first delete the launcher6.ini and then configure pretty much every thing up again. So the *.bat files are easier on this occasion.

Someone get the launcher fixed with those long command lines... :hopping: :D

But I got a 333Mhz Celeron from my uncle, and I decided to instal linux into it so that I could fiddle with it a bit.
Ubuntu with a Fluxbox desktop. And since Fluxbox is quite a simple desktop interface I decided to keep the wallpaper simple aswell :p

Quite annoyingly so. That omg I drank so much that my vision's blurry look is more annoying than anything. It only looks good on really bright light effects. NOT on every shimmer of light.

Only time I see noticeable 'bloom' is with a hangover in mornings. Hence, sunglasses.

it's kinda like HDRish for the ati cards, no?.. bloom is okay, as long as you do it right, and a lot of people have no idea what the blazes they're doing with it.
