Title: Goober's signature?
Post by: Kazan on April 20, 2006, 09:48:42 pm
Quote
"How I wish you could put things like that on your CV though.  'Accidentally fooled Computer Press into thinking Freespace 3 was going to be on the XBox.'  That's very nearly a 'Goob wins the Internet' moment, at the very least a high end-of-level boss." -- Flipside

what did i miss?

He photoshopped Freespace 3 onto a list of Xbox 360 launch titles someone scanned from a magazine. Some gaming news site later used the photoshopped picture instead of the original in one of their articles and it caused some confusion. It had some people around here freaking out too... :D

what is ANY kid that is too young for the rating of a game doing in that game in the first place?

proving their parents are morons who cannot read the labels people forced them to put on the boxes

S'going to get worse in the US before it gets better alas. Leland Yee and his technophobic ilk are going to do a massive amount of damage to the gaming industry (and the First Amendment) in the name of 'Protecting the Children', simply because Parents cannot be bothered to be Parents. We laugh at Jack Thompson, but to be honest, he's just the clown, it's Yee and Clinton who are really endagering Freedom of Expression as far as computer games are concerned.

she wins her seat because

A) no reasonable democrat runs against her
B) the people who vote for her will vote for the worst dem before voting for a republican

which can be bad, but even for as bad as I think hillary is she has nothing on orrin hatch, tom delay, rick santorum, bill frist, etc for being a ****bag

 Yeah, that was my general opinion as well, he actually adjusted the seat and steering wheel etc. Probably did more to ensure safe driving than I do come to think of it :nervous:

I'm surprised he had to foresight to actually steal the keys instead of standing in the middle of traffic and then attempting to pull a driver from his car while it's in motion, in the proud GTA tradition of doing things.
