Drakh, League or Vorlon wars??? please anser a 10-15 mission Campaign
and also Drakh vs Vorlons or Vorlon vs EA something like that
so you have to deside :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:
-
Babylon History X will let you choose a race and then fight a campaign against an second race you pick.
As far as I know every single combination you describe is supported :)
-
Every one of em :)
BHX lets you start a war between - The vorlons, The Minbari, EA, The League, The Narns, The Centauri, The Drakh, The Shaodws, ISA and the Raiders
What more could you ask for in a B5 orientated war :)
-
You can't really compare BHX to a "normal" campaign.
BHX won't have a story or more complex missions, so they work with all the races from what I heard.
I would like a leage vs. Drakh campaign (possibly with a little shadow/vorlon intervention at the end?).
-
well i meat to do a normal gampaing ih any body has any ideas

You are quite wrong there my friend. BHX does have a story, infact many stories. Let me give you a little more info on it. In BHX you pick your side, then you pick the enemies side. Once you have picked both participating sides then the fun begins. There will be multiple storylines why the war starts eg. holy wars, resources, base attacks etc. (an intro explaining how the war starts which will be random for every campiagn) Then we have adopted a pilots view of the war. The pilot (voice acted) flies many missions during the course of the war, then depending on how the war goes you will have different endings. There will be a huge choice of missions, some will include - assination missions (you have to destroy an enemy general) Fleet offensive missions (big space battles a-foot when yours and the enemies fleet do battle) Spy elimination (kill the enemy spy before he escapes) base defence (the enemy has launched an attack on one of your bases). There are lots of different missions which will be different every time you play them (missions ships & fleet sizes will vary in every mission)
So in general BHX has many different storylines which take your desired war through many inevative & challenging missions :)

Which is a rather astonishingly brilliant premise, I'd like to say. Dynamic 2-side campaign alone would be a massive achievement IMO, let alone multiple-species and endings. Kudos.

well when is this bhx gouing to be ready
-
When I finish this huge pile of marking I have to do. I won't be able to work on it for at least another month. It's quite frustrating because I want it finished as much as the next person.
-
Seems like I should have checked the BHX thread a bit more often.
This is really quite astinishing.
But I still think that a "normally" made Leage vs. Drakh campaign would be fun.
-
You do realise that the League get minced?
-
Minced, lol. put it this way, I picked the league against the centauri, Within a few missions I had lost most of my ships. And the new filoski fighter would have trouble taking out a raider ship. lol. Against the Drakh, well only one thing to say on that.    :drevil:
oh, and i forgot to mention

The struggle itself would probably resemble what the EA went through against the Minbari. Lots and lots of one-sided battles. :D
On the other hand, the Drakh are seclusive to say the least. They wouldn't throw their whole fleet into a war of conquest in a realistic campaign, and would probably try to avoid conventional attrition tactics wherever possible, so maybe the League would have a chance if they outsmarted them. Possibilities abound!
-
Im gonna have a war tonight on BHX between the League and Drakh (just for a laugh) I will post some screens tomorrow on how the war went. Then you can see for yourself. :)
-
Expect to see lots of Aviokis and saucers being sliced in two.
-
Geez, guys, what did the League races ever do to you?
-
LEAGUE Vs DRAKH
I had my arse kicked last night as me fellow league pilots died by the bucket load. I managed to play through nine missions until the DrakH was knocking on my door of my homeworld. So when BHX gets released (in June/July hopefully) heres what to expect if you pitch the League against the Drakh.
And so it begins

Doomed from the start

Mission 3 just after 2 mins

LEAGUE Vs DRAKH Cont.
Military funerals galore

The End is nigh
(http://www.bhx.stargame.co.uk/ssbhx3.jpg)
Knock, knock, Knockin on the leagues door (homeworld actually but with Guns n roses)
Well this is what to expect in your league war agianst the drakh. I played 9 missions, the only mission i won (well didnt win but survived was the escape mission. The Drakh caught me and imprisoned me. I managed to aquire one of their fighters and managed to make it to the jumpgate. I felt victories after that until the next mission which was a base defence mission. The drakh wiped out my base in less than 30 secs

Wait untill the Vree get the proper AI for their anti-matter burstcannon!
And who says losing a war isn't interesting. After all the EMW Demo was great too.
-
Well the drakh ships lost about 3 or 4% of thier hull integrity by the time the league fleet was taken out. The most damage done to one of the drakh cap sips during the course of the war was nearly 20%, yes after me and my fellow wingmates along with the fleet hit 1 drakh ship with everything we had we managed to get it down to 81%. So i gues the short time the vree saucer will have to use its antimatter canons wouldnt make much dufference im affraid.

I would love to see the Vree use that weapon but, regardless of the AI issues, a Xill is never going to get close to a Drakh capital ship. You are quite correct though in your remark that losing a war can be interesting. There's nothing more stirring than a heroic and spectacular defeat, and with their beautiful and brightly coloured cannon fodder capships the League are masters at that. Provided you're in a Sky Serpent you'll probably get to see all the carnage because that ship is very survivable and one of the most potent fighters in the game. If you're in a Falkosi though? ha! :D
-
Pffft, the Drakh eventually end up losing when the League's ISA allies show up.
Right? :nervous:
-
Or the Excalibur at least...
-
Hmm.. what about a modern Minbari vs EA?
-
I haven't really tried playing the EA as the Minbari. I did test the homeworld defence mission as EA vs Minbari though. Turned out pretty much the same as the original battle of the line did, only they didn't surrender, and then loads of Sharlins entered Earth's orbit and pummeled it.
-
I tested the EA against the minbari, very very hard. #L)
