I don't know if you have heard about this news before , but according to a swedish news site the maker of Mission Impossible 3 and TV series Lost will be the director/producer of the new Star Trek movie. This should be intresting

I still have a hard time having faith. Here's to hoping for the best though..

Dear God, not another Star Trek movie.

Y' just know they're gonna do all kinds of horrible things like having Spock use the Vulcan Death Grip and destroying continuity....

It had popped up before, but no worries :)
I have concerns, even a good director can't re-animate the dead.

I would suggest checking www.startrek.com. They've posted an article giving the official news.

I want to see what he's done with MI3 before he even TOUCHES star trek. I like Lost, a LOT, but I dunno if he'll be able to make MI3 "smart". Smart like it was in MI1, not the Woo-ized pile of crap that 2 was.
