Title: Introduction and question about playing online
Post by: fantomx11 on May 07, 2006, 07:00:26 pm
I've been playing space sims for a long time, I started with the original X-Wing and then went to TIE Fighter.

I bought Freespace when it first came out and bought Freespace 2 when it came out as well.  I thoroughly enjoyed both, but at the time I didn't have a good internet connection so I never played online.

Now I've found freespace2_open and think it's great.  I'd like to play online but I don't know where to start, any help would be appreciated.

right now the online multiplayer is down and i havent seen matthew papa in a month who is the person who runs the server. Recently the people of the multi-community have been playing IP games (me being one of those multi-community members) I play frequently with other people who just want to play a few games. If you too want to join one of my games just email or IM me and Ill set you up and we can play for a bit. :)
