Title: How to: map keyboard keys to files
Post by: Stealth on May 10, 2006, 01:40:05 pm
Soooo let's say i have two batch files.  i want "CTRL + 1" to execute batch file 1, and i want "CTRL + 2" to execute batch file 2, etc.

To make things worse, this has to run in a windows terminal (remote) session.

what options are available to do this?

I used AutoHotkey to open up my playlist with a hotkey. Don't use it anymore as it interfered with my gaming.

This can be done on the G15 keyboard, where you can just remap the extra keys to open programs, but I think it may be possible on any keyboard that has those media/quicklaunch buttons and its own driver control panel.
