Title: IWar2 Concept Art, Tug Class
Post by: WarpStar on November 03, 2001, 06:36:00 pm
This is the design for the Mercury Tug Class.  It's made especially for shipyard use and heavy mining, hence all the blast shielding.  This same shielding makes it a good ship when equipped for battle.

Make the command section smaller relative to the body.

Monkey! thats awesome! I wish I could draw like that!

Everything on it is perfect, but like what Shrike said, make the command section smaller.

Shrike, I think you're right, it's too damn bit, maybe for a small tug  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

DC, like anything, all it takes is practice.  Buying a book helps too  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Thanks too for the positive feedback guys  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Do lots of crappy drawings and one out of 100 will end up well, if you do them on a variety of themes. Stick to the themes of the less hideous drawings, and weventually you'll get up to 1 in 20. The rest you can sell in modern art shows  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
