As the title says is it a good film? my friend said when he went to see it said it was just as f**ked up as the Silent hill 2 in the whole terror thing (which means he liked it, don't think his wife liked it though. He said she had to sleep with the light on and the TV :lol: ), i would see it but it dosen't seem to have come the the pics in my town. I have seen trailers for it and it does look to be a good film.

I went to see it purely for the gore and violence, and even that wasn't enough to distract me from the fact that it was retarded. But then again, it's based on a video game, so anyone who goes into it with expectations of seeing a real movie probably needs to reassess his or her critical standards.

Don't know. It was on for about three weeks and then got taken off before I had time to go see it.

Of all the reviews i have seen, says its a good film one hailed it as the best video game to movie to date, but everyone has his/her own taste's in films, ie i enjoyed the first final fantasy film which i know alot of people here didnt. So it looks like i'll wait for the DVD release

I'm inclined to agree that it's one of the best game-to-film conversions yet. It's not great (in my opinion) but there are some really nice bits in it and - when compared to the likes of Doom or Resident Evil - I'd definitely choose to watch it again.
