Title: Is it possible to download shivan one and vasudan one models for 3ds?

Hello

I want to download shivan and vasudan models for my PC - but not ships models, rather models of characters ;) If it is possible, please give me some hyperlinks, or send me e-mail. I'm 3D animator and I am thinking about create some new cut-scenes to Freespace 2 :) I already extracted all ships models from game and converted them to 3ds, but with characters, scenes will look much more realistic.

Not really, no.  sadly, there are no official character models available.  There are, I think, Vasudan and Shivan models made by Bobbau...Bobaua...Bobobo.....ah hell, Bob and Nico respecitively, but i'm not sure if they are rigged, in 3ds format or even where they are :(

I can upload Nico's Shivan model when I get home, but a fan-made Vasudan model does not exist.

Maybe try posting in the FS: Close Quarters forum over on Gamewarden; if anyone would have a Vasudan model they would.

Yes it does.  5000 polys, IIRC.

The only Vasudan models I've seen look like reskinned humans or horribly mutated Vasudans.  Nothing true-to-:v:.  Of course, I'd love to see a counterexample. :)
