Title: modeling request
Post by: [DW]-Hunter on May 25, 2006, 01:00:00 am
Hey guys, just wanted to know if one of you could model me this ship. Its the Hapes Nova Battle Cruiser from the Starwars complete guide to vessels and vehicles. I would need it modeled the size of a lucifer for a campaign I am using.

Give me one good reason why this thread should remain open when there's already another exactly like this one (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,39923.0.html) in the genFS forum.

I'd leave this one Raa, I've locked the other one. This kind of thing really belongs in this forum.

Do I have to say 'no' again?

Seriously, whilst I appreciate the massive urge (well, not really...) to have a Star Wars ship shoved in Freespace, not only are 99.999% of modellers really busy with stuff, the least enticing thing you can ask is to copy someone elses design.   Makes us feel like photocopiers, y'see.

No more than anyone elses. Don't get all butthurt. Perhaps if you didnt post the same exact thing, especially after being told that no one was going to do it, the end result wqould have been different.

*shrugs* The other thread was open when I asked, and had already given an answer, despite it not being the one he was looking for. Should another of thes epop up, though...
