The US government? Propaganda? Compliant media? Nah, that's unpossible.

Though I think the story is at least a year old; I remember reading about it a while ago.

I know, I couldn't believe it either.  Who'd have thunk it?  Probably even that nice, charitable man Rupert Murdoch was involved, too.  Shocking!

Of course it does. It also doesn't like countries to torure people or develope nunclear weapons. Just name a few. Seriously, this as surprising as an orgasm after a wanking session. And is the best kept secret after the discovery of fire that burns.

I prefered it the old way, when government mouthpieces were clearly identifiable as such. I mean, at least with Pravda you knew it was bull****. This...this is a far more subtle and devious strategy.

What the hell?  Seriously, what country did he think was Germany, here?

"In this job you've got a lot on your plate on a regular basis; you don't have much time to sit around and wander, lonely, in the Oval Office, kind of asking different portraits, 'How do you think my standing will be?' "—Washington, D.C., March 16, 2005

Makes Blair seem almost acceptable.
