Pretty much what the poll says: what's the highest amount of money (converted into USD for simplicity's sake) you've ever made from one source in an hourly wage? I'm not talking about working at a convention for a weekend and getting paid for the whole thing in one lump sum at the end, mind you.. I'm talking about the highest hourly wage you've had.
Me, I just achieved a new high (one I never really expect to attain again) the other week. When working at my previous job, I had built a site for a certain company. When I left that job, that company didn't have anyone they knew of to turn to regarding updates to the website, so they've called me a few times. I made $60/hour recently, for 3 hours' work in total. I couldn't believe it. :eek2:

A recent run-down from high to low:
£1550. I got hit by a car, it took seconds. That was the payoff for having a scar for the rest of my life. Not exactly a conventional job though.
£100. I got hit in the face. It again took seconds but the broken nose took a while to heal. The guy who did it was caught/prosecutted and I learned that being drunk on vodka really helps if you're going to get mugged on a dark night. Again.. not conventional.
£20/h. I made a guy a website for his bosses limo company, it took about 3 hours and I got £60 total for it.
£5/h. Working as a housekeeper at the local mental hospital for none accute patients (that is to say, the kind that don't stab you). Job entails mopping/vacuuming floors and serving the patients their food. Not bad really... the hours were good and the people there suprisingly friendly (for the most part).

£10 doing demonstrations at a uni lab.
-
$7.50 /hr
bagging groceries, pushing carts, cleaning messes, and cashiering
-
I got about $18/hour last summer writing software for calculating theta function values, although that was an internship program rather than a real job.
-
Approx $11 (I think) promoting student enterprise over a series of 12 months part time at university. w00t.
-
I got a neigbors mail for a weekend for them. I got it for them two days, and they gave me a twenty, and it takes seconds to do, so, I would've made lots.

£6.50, in my current job, for .NET web app development. This is of course as a student; when I leave Uni it will likely go up.
Even so, I'd rather not be earning less than £12 per hour in a development position, which is why I'm learning LISP... .NET developers seem to be ten a penny (levels of Clue vary) but LISP programmers are rare.

You'd need to do something very rare and perhaps antiquated to get that; 22k p.a works out at just under £10 an hour, and thats quite high over the average graduate starting wage. People in other fields, even less; my brothers' girlfriend does some sort of architectural/design type work (graduate level), and makes less than £16k.

USD? I make $60.90 (AUD$80) tutoring a few high school students in mathematics on a weekly basis. Only an hour a week sadly. ;)
-
During summer over a period of 2 and a half month I made 11000kn which would be around 1940$
Not much by your standards I guess...

$6-10: Walmart, from graduation from HS to late 2002
$1-2: Sitting on my ass collecting unemployment after Walmart fired me for being paid too much
$100-150: My average hourly winrate in the Partypoker $10/$20 limit hold'em 6 player games, when the poker boom first started in 2004 after a random amateur won the World Series of Poker main event and thousands of morons sought to follow in his footsteps in online cash games that they're way too stupid and overbankrolled for :)
$15-25: My current average hourly winrate, playing 20-30 hours a week, 3 tables of $2/$4 up to $5/10 limit hold'em on various online sites.
Hopefully, I'll never work again. :)

Hourly pay? About 35ish I think, plus a free dinner... for some important work that had to be done on a sunday.
-
$650 for 25 minutes...
Don't ask.

$7.50
University "public" math tutor. I could make my own hours and I discovered that if I worked in the library at night, most of the time one or two people would come in a 4 hour stretch. When no one was there I could do whatever I wanted (homeworki, play games, etc). Best job ever.....

just under 50 bucks AUD working a public holiday once.

I did some consulting/reseach work in the past 3 months.
320$/h. And, starting from a mere 15$/h when I was still in university (took my degree in September), that was definitively an improvement.
Sadly the project finished (with a published Patent). And now I'm working for a BIG company as an Oracle Dev/Supporter. I'm making around 5000$ Month. Not bad for a 25 years old :)
Ah, the wonders of capitalism... or is that Switzerland?...

i think i peaked at $40 an hour one day (based on dayly average). i think i had a string of easy bike repairs that day. i only worked like 3 hours that day because i busted a hundred for the day and i was in one of those moods where i didnt want to work anymore. id probibly made more on other occasions but sence i get paid for the item and not for the time i usually never keep track. i figure usually i make between $15-$30 an hour normally, depending on how crappy the bikes are and in what mood im in.

I get $8 an hour at my current job, so that's what I voted for. However, in the middle of summer I buck hay for a friend's dad, and I think that's around $10-12. After a couple of weeks the fields are empty though.
-
$20/hour. what i make right now.
-
I got a few hundred for doing my uncle's website and did like 3-4hrs work on it.
-
I honestly have no idea. Probably little over $15 an hour.
-
Normal hourly wage is $15.50/hr.
But last Christmas Eve, I worked an open to close (7:00am - 11:00pm), 16 hours. Eight hours were time and a half, because it was holiday pay. The other eight hours were double pay because of the overtime.
So, that was something like $27.00~ish an hour.

None of your damned business!
Yes. That little.

If you don't tell we will use our excessively dirty imaginations to think of something. :p
