Evening all.
A slightly odd question today. I want to sell a (very impressive / powerful / fun) BB rifle that I bought a couple of years ago. It's in perfect condition and still has the box it came in... but I'm not trying to flog it here.
The trouble is, I do want to sell it. However eBay don't deal in BB guns etc. which I guess I can appreciate but it doesn't help me out much. My local area doesn't really have the kind of people who'd be looking to buy one.
Does anyone know of a specialised UK shop or dealership for such things that might buy it or help me sell it on? It really is an excellent piece of kit and while I don't think I'll get any more out of it, I think someone should rather than have it rot in my cupboard because I'm not using it.
Cheers!

www.pricerunner.co.uk should list a few.

All i can find right now is a remote contolled BB firing insectoid machine.
Very cool,
With regards to your answer, does anyone round your neck of the woods want to buy it?
-
I thought about it but where I live the OAP population far out-weighs everyone else... certainly anyone responsible looking for a decent BB rifle.
I don't especially want to sell it on the street as it's A) probably illegal, B) would almost certainly get me shot for walking around with a replica assault rifle and C) I wouldn't like to see half the kids around here with it.. it's poweful. Looks like this:

OMFG!!! I almost bought the same model from a gun/knife/sword/naughty shop in crystal palace. I opted for the MP5 pdw instead, How much you looking to offload for?
-
That's a good looking BB gun. I hope you find it a good owner.
You propably know it I'm sure but be sure that you know (at least into some point) to what kind of person you are selling it. Being a BB gun it's not that dangerous but one can still hurt people with it if being careless.
Or scare people by walking out the streets gun uncovered. Like on peep did here once... with a full camo on aswell, I allmost pulled my car over and and wen't to him to tell how thay should be handled but I was in a hurry.

Well i gotta say i spen 6 years in the mob, I saw one idiot fuc4ing about up and he ended up taking his foot off. Not a preetty sight.

Have you ever played airsoft? Cau'se it's something I've been thinking that maybe I would like to try, except of course for it being expensive and me being a bit of a pussie.
Arnie's Airsoft (http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/) likely has the info you're looking for, either in the form of the forums or as a retailer near you who may purchase it back.
-
Airsoft is something I'd like to try myself, much more fun than paintballing.
Nice little piece of weaponry there Kali, if I could by it, I would.
Also, does it use CO2 or is it mechanicly operated?
-
So is this a BB gun as in copper BBs (.177 cal compatible) or an airsoft weapon? From the pic it looks like an airsoft gun, yet the 25rnd magazine leads me to believe it's a regular BB gun and if so, that is the sweetest looking BB gun I've ever seen!
-
just sell it to a pawn shop, they will give you about half of what ebay will.
-
If you replace "sell" with "give" and "<buyer>" with "thesizzler" then you have a taker!

Airsoft isn't all it's cracked up to be. You can't tell when you get hit, unless you have a >$90 gun, a gas gun, or a point-blank shot (but then it hurts! :shaking: ) I don't know about you, but the only people who I know who prefere airsoft to paintball, are a couple 8th, 6th, and 5th graders who are rather wimpy.
What the HECK???? You can't DO that!! I'm going HOME!!
And none of them are any good. The only good ones I know are OBSESSED with it (don't look at me, I only borrow someone's gun occasinaly)!
So the moral of the anecdote is: Unless you want to play with whiny b--UTTWIPES I mean, play paintball.

I want to get a genuine Samurai sword one day... when I'm rich.

Are BB guns like that legal in the UK? If so, how much are you looking to get for it?
/me may be a poor student at the moment, but in two months time he'll be... a poor software developer instead. But a BB gun would be cool.
-
Air rifles, are semi-legal depending on what you do, GUn laws are pretty variable depending on the retailer as well. For example when i was 17 years old, I just walked into the now defunct "Catford Gun Co" shop in london SE6, put £75 on the counter and bought a blank firing chromed "PPK Police." If i had another £10 i could have bought a Baretta .92(sp?) this was back in 99.
It seems to have gotten easier lately i've got a shortstock double barrelled shotgun safely locked away in my house, only 8 guage but it works...

This one fires small plastic ballbearings (emphasis on plastic here). It's not automatic - you have to cock the chamber for each shot. It does shoot pretty far, fast and powerful though... not to mention really looking the part.
As for legality. I believe it's illegal to buy one if you're under 18 and it's also to illegal to wander the streets with one that isn't well concealed (if it's not illegal, it'll get you shot - it has happened before).
I looked up the exact place I got it from for your review, a great little place along the coast from me that does all kinds of stuff from swords to suits of armor, tv replica hand grenades (that don't explode) and my bb rifle:
http://www.battleorders.co.uk/acatalog/Battle_Orders_6mm__BB_Firing_Air_Rifles_5.html
Mine is at the bottom.
It hasn't been used for any actual war games or anything, just a show piece - although it has been fired I've taken good care of it and not thrown it around. It's in as-new condition but given it is second hand I guess I'm looking to get about £50/60 for it if possible... it still has the box and manuals I bought it with.
I really wasn't looking to sell it here but I guess if anyone is interested then it couldn't hurt. PM me if you're interested as it'd be best to conduct things privately. HLP isn't an arms dealership :p

Mores the pity :D

the little yellow ones? Hmmm, let me see how much it costs round Crystal palace, If iyours is cheaper, we'll talk business.
-
this is the sort of thing i'd have loads of fun with
i dream of camping out in my dorm room window (4th floor, overlooking the little quad we got here) and sniping those damn skaters. i absolutely hate skaters, and nothing would make me happier than shooting at them with a non-lethal weapon and making them fall off their skateboards.
disguising where i'm firing from would be the hard part

Close curtains......... ;7

HLP isn't an arms dealership :p
It'd be lot cooler if it was. We wouldn't need ads anymore at least.
