Title: Interesting 3D-Logic Game to procrastinate with.
Post by: Mefustae on June 06, 2006, 08:07:06 pm
Stumbled across this on my travels, quite interesting really.

3D-Logic (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/315702)

Essentially, it's a game where you drag colour across a cube to connect two similarly-coloured color squares. I can't really explain it all that well, but it's pretty straight forward, and somewhat calming. So far, i've only come across 2 really hard ones, namely level 16 and 23 [the latter of which i'm currently stuck on], but it's a great feeling when you finally come up with a successful strategy after 20 minutes of frustration. :)

If you can get by it, 17-22 are pretty easy [well, 19 can be a bastard], but it's 23 that's just plain f***ing impossible.

Nice game, but I gave up on Level 16.

I did too, but not by choice. Accidentally hit the close button. Very fun game though.

I started through this a very long time ago, and I think I wound up stuck on 23.  Never could see how it was physically possible without burrowing through the center of the cube. :p

Huzzah, I just beat the last level!  (Level 30).

I must say I was a bit dissapointed in the simple "You Win" message at the end.  Made it feel so... unrewarding.

23 was easier than 16. 29 on the other hand...

There we go, I knew it was just 23. Whizzed through 24-27 inside of 30 seconds, and now i'm stuck pondering 28.

Go figure... 27 took me a good long while, but 28 I got in just a couple minutes.

EDIT: And 29 was stupid-easy.

It's a matter of whether you hit upon a winning strategy quickly or not. If you don't you can be there for ages.

Anyway managed to finish the whole thing.

Yep. They are all possible guys. Just very tricky in some cases. :)

23 was spoilered on the first page actually (Glad I checked before playing through again to get a screen grab) but here's 13 (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/karajorma/Misc-Pics/Level13.jpg) for Cobra.

Somehow I missed this thread until earlier today. I found 27 a little tricky, but the rest were pretty straightforward.

You found 16 and 23 straightforward?  WTF man??

I don't know, I played with them for a few minutes and stumbled into an answer pretty quickly. 27 was the only one that took longer.

I DID IT!!!

It was kinda weird, I was stuck on 28... and then I was on 29 and I didn't even realise it... but 29 was pretty straightforward in comparison, and 30 was dead easy.

*Dances*

Yes Conolol Dekker, the big CONTINUE button on the main menu rather implied that.

Yeah i know that. but most web based flash games i've played, ESPECIALLY on newgrounds simply play back from the start of said game...

3d logic was a refreshing change hence my mentioning the "blatantly obvious"..
