Post by: Duplo on June 09, 2006, 06:04:11 am
Greetings,
I was looking around for the cutscenes that work with freespace open, sadly the links on the site Freespace Oracle don't seem to work anymore, can they be found somewhere else ?

My links don't work?

I'll look into that in a bit.

This is not exactly what you're looking for, but might help.

Assuming you're using M$ Windows, all the recent CVS builds (including 3.6.9 release candidate 1) have built-in MVE decoder. This means all you need to do is copying the .mve files from your FS2 discs into data\movies\ and you're good to go. If you are using Freespace Conversion you can do basically the same. Just copy the .mve files into the correct folder in your mod folder instead.

Didn't you notice that my FAQ actually says the same thing? :D

I suppose I could improve the way it says it :)
