Title: Two Questions
Post by: NGTM-1R on June 14, 2006, 09:16:57 pm
1. How would one eliminate the poofs from a nebula (so you don't get the silly swirly effects...I want something a little more sedate, like mist)?

2. Is it possible to change the transparency of the nebula, and if so, how?

So you get normal space and the star background, but some mist as well?

Transparency (i take you mean the visibility distance) of the nebulae is possible to set (with objecttypes.tbl) but there were some issues with it and i'm not sure if those have all been corrected.

You'd use a shotgun, and a full Season 3 DVD Set of "Sex and the City" as bait. :)

Alternately, extract the poofs from the VPs, Colour them pure black and re-save them into the effects folder.
