hey, I've just seen that B5 movie... mmh... I think it can be translated by "the call to arms", with the excalibur and her ship, fighting a shadow cloud. Will all those ships be in the babylon project? I mean the excalibur, the drakhs, the nuclear missile launcher cloud with a big grid in it.
-
That's looooong after the time line for the B5P. they're working in the Earth Minbari War timeline..Call to Arms is like 5 or so years afterwards.
-
? I thought the babylon station was destroyed at the end of the series? it's there, in that movie.
-
B5 was destroyed about 20 years after the end of the B5 series..... the final B5 ep is a 'fast forward' episode.

15 years after. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
B5 was created 10 years after the Earth-Minbari War (quoted from season1 intro). Crusade is 5 years after the ISA is created (ie: 5 years after the first ep of Season5 in B5)

most of those ships will be included yes but not yet - they are along way down the priority list
-
so I suppose this plague is no more then, already? They have found their super aliens that could cure it?
-
1) Its 'A Call to Arms' (for the sake of clarity and personal knowledge - not knocking your translation).
2) We will have the Drakh and the Excalibur and all of those in the MOD eventually.
3) Babylon 5 was/is destroyed (because of it being a navigational hazard, nobody went there anymore) 20 years after the end of the show.
4) The Drakh Plague was planned to be cured in the second season of Crusade. But there would be a price for the cure (there always is) and the rest of the series would focus on that.
-
oh. and I suppose that second season was never shot?
-
Nope.

I told you that It ("http://www.geocities.com/jskgames/home.html") would be done by November, well, mostly anyway...

Crusade blows/blew.
The plots were so thin. Was there ANY continuity or flow between each episode?
And the sets! What pieces of sh!t.
Although the Draahk plague thing was weak from the start so what can you expect.

Our friendly neighbourhood **** has arrived.
Yes, Crusade sucked. But only 8 of the episodes, the so-called "TNT-enhanced" episodes.
Ya see, JMS first got 5 episodes shot without TNT interference. Then TNT decided they weren't good enough and "improved" the series with more sex, fighting and wrestling, apparently everything the American public wants.
Then the episodes started sucking so bad TNT cancelled the whole thing.

Excuse me?!? That's just what producers would like to think...
Unfortunately for them they didn't understand their own fanbase and shot themselves in the foot with their own idiocy.

Over here in Singapore, they showed the series until "Memory of War". From what 've seen, the Crusade plot has lots of holes to cover up.

No, had JMS been given the clear light to do what he wanted, it would have been much better. Mind you JMS did say that he felt that he was tired of writing at the time and that some of his ideas weren't as fully developed as they could be (don't quite quote me on that either), but that by no means indicates that JMS didn't know what the so called "fanbase" wanted nor did he loose sight of what was done with Babylon 5.
The plots that I've read about for the episodes that were never shot are definately coming close to what was achieved during Season 3 and 4 of Babylon 5. It does take time to break in new characters and so that also accounts for a few things too.
What happened is JMS got pissed off at TNT for trying to re-write his stuff and add the WWF in space routine so he finally bargained to do 13 episodes mostly his way instead of 22 their way.
-
I was referring to what TNT was doing, sheesh... I know darn well that JMS was getting the "Roddenberry treatment".
Vince McMan seems to think that everyone thinks (or rather, doesn't think if his brand of entertainment is any indication) alike. Don't forget he's the one who gave us the biggest bomb since Hiroshima... the XFL (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/lol.gif)

Hey, mister JSK person, your build 2 zip file was corrupted. But it doesn't matter now because you have, in the words of geocities, "exceeded your mass file transfer rate." or something.
queef?
EDIT: I'm sleepy..

Drat!
I've got a mirror site at homestead.com ("http://www.jskgames.homestead.com/files/home.html"), but don't bother trying until tomorrow cause I know that site is screwed up. Gimme tonight to fix it...
I've exceeded my file transfer rate?!? If I read that correctly it means I've exceeded my allowed bandwidth for the month... I'm not sure whether to be happy (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) (yay! people have been d/ling it!!!) or pissed (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/mad.gif) (I've only been at geocities for less than a week, whaddya mean I'm out of bandwidth!!!).
Like I said, give me tonight to fix the problem with the Homestead site and try it again tomorrow. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience.
