Check out the Starsiege 2845 Alpha Technology Release Wraith Testing Video featuring yours truly.

It's the fan-developed (with Sierra/VU Games' blessing) sequel to Starsiege. The Alpha Technology Release is a Torque Game Engine version which will be made public in the near future, while the final Torque Shader Engine multiplayer game will be released later on.

Starsiege 2845 is a sci-fi combined arms combat game. Featuring mecha, tanks, aircraft, powered-armor, and infantry battling it out on large scale maps accross several planets.

This is V Cool and i've been tracking it for at lest a Years IMO Starsiege are the coolest mechy game of em all. Mainly for Cybrid + Herabec based wootage !

Wasn't this initially a Tribes:Vengeance mod?  Or was that something else?

It was, but its grown and grown, Imagine if Volition ahad released the code and seen the SCP as it is today and gone heres all the support you can wis for, But they ;7 keep some of the rights......

It was originally a T:V mod, but with T:V being an overall flop they convinced VU Games to have it as a stand-alone game.

I genuinely enjoyed the single player camp, and you can get bots if you look hard enough.
TV doesnt have enough good vehicles for my liking, but the CYbrid hitman makes up for it..
