I have one week of school left. Before that time, i have to learn and understand second-order differential equations and non-homogeneous linear differential equations. can anyone help me out?
-
i'm not even sure what you just said
-
Tut Tut, Ignore homework did we?
-
you try taking Physics 208 and Calc 241 over a course of 5 weeks...
-
High level math short courses,..... I may be brash, but i'm not reckless.
Surely one course at a time would have een easier?

Sorry, was supposed to be getting this stuff at school, but they skipped it.
Ask the Warpstorm people, perhaps, very kindly, if CP or Bob don't show up.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differential_equations (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differential_equations)
It has some sub-types under links.
Maybe it wil be of some use...

uh, what exactly do you want to know? There is enough material on those things to write several books on.

And that's an understatement.

Me too. I know about differential equations though. Had to know it for the AP Calculus test. :p

I don't know why, but as soon as I read that, I though of Trek technobabble.
-
Probably a result of not knowing much about second-order differential equations and nonhomogenous linear differential equations.

*scans dough with tricorder*

Anyone here read "The Physics of Star Trek"?

i might have too, but under a different name or something cause when i translate all this to croatian, it sounds even weirder... *shrugs*

Diff EQ was actually rather easy compared to regular calculus, at least I always thought so.
The question remains though, what kind of help do you want? Give me a problem you're having problems with and I'll see what I can do to walk you through it.
