Title: Request to anybody of or formerly of Descent Network
Post by: Unknown Target on November 14, 2001, 01:24:00 pm: I was hoping one of you guys could make a FS2 Create-A-Server tool, because, well, my dad has a computer store that's on-line about 13/6, so I could get a server for Fs2 running over there (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif).
Besides, you created one for FS1, so could you just convert the code?

Install CD got scratched, so, uhhhh, can't install it anywhere else but on this comp. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)
Besides, due to recent complications, I might not be able to do it.
But it would be nice to have the tool floating around, just in case (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

Post by: jonskowitz on November 14, 2001, 10:51:00 pm: Besides, I'm coming to the conclusion that the on-disk server software is pretty crappy. Even over a 200mbs LAN we suffer severe lag times.
