Title: In need of older builds
Post by: Starman01 on June 25, 2006, 07:34:31 am
Hello,

I'm looking for an old build from around end of november 05 until the time the table compatibility has been broken with 3.6.7 builds (I guess that has been around End of december).

The problem is, that 3.6.7 seems to have big problems with nvidia cards and tga-files. The decemberbuilds (mostly the 18.12.)  runs fine, but has a huge problem with playing music (change soundtrack SEXP) and the different music parts definied in music.tbl, so the music has a habit of not playing.

Now, I hope there is one build in that time, that has the nvidia-bug fixed and also no problems with the music files. Have you people backuped older builds, or does anyone else has a old build laying around ?

Thanks

Starman :)

:sigh: Table compatibility was not 'broken', the parser was just made more strict to disallow table syntax, rather than having random crashing and problems occur.  ::)

Hm, sorry, was a little bad phrased :) But it's incompatible with older versions, that's what I meant.

I would hope so. Otherwise all my work has been for nothing.
