so my system crashes with a win2k BSOD about an IRQ conflict after going 100% cpu usage for a few seconds after using azureus for a few minutes
-
My computer would always restart whenever I finished downloading something using Bittorrent.
-
oddness - i updated my bios and my VIA 4in1 so hopefully that has killed it
-
XP will BSOD after an hour or three of running Azureus too, which is odd because it only began doing it recently. Don't think the upgrade will help.
-
now i'm getting random hardlocks
they seem thermal or bus undervoltage (IE random)
-
get uTorrent... much better than azureus and bug-free. for me at least :nervous:
never had a single problem with it.
-
I used to have issues - disconnection and BSODs - with a particular network card (a 3Com) when used with any BT client. I'd see if uTorrent works better, and if not, try another NIC if you have one spare.

Had it; unacceptably slow.

:wtf:
explain, its one of the smallest and fastest BT clients out there and hasnt failed me once unlike BitLord and Azureus(i dont trust a single program that needs the java-runtimes since using azureus )...

problem fixed
via 4in1 upgrade, ati driverupgrade or restoring extra cooling fixed it
bios upgrade introduced the hard-lock issue
bios rollback to A7V600 R1006 solve the hardlock issue

uTorrent > *
Its very fast for me.
-
Well, not for me. So there. :p
-
problem wasn't quite fixed - random reboots cropped up
was a bug in my FA311 (10/100baseT network card) driver
