I'm still running 3.6.7, with both Media VP patches, and it works fine. However, I'm lost on all this 3.6.8 and 3.6.9 with the "zeta" and other designations attached. Are all these unfinished releases? I just want to know what's the latest stable release.

They are more stable than 3.6.7 (the 3.6.9 releases anyway) and the Zetas are just about as stable and look better. If I were you I'd upgrade

Take my advice, and ignore all the "zeta", "beta", "other Greek letters" stuff. Just upgrade, but be sure to pick up the mv_ VP's along with it, they help a lot.

Sigh...

You need to be a little specific, otherwise you could end up in bug hell

Get the 3.6.9 Release Canadate (4) here (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,40808.new/boardseen.html#new)
Get the Zeta VPs here (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,39905.0.html)

You'll find everything runs better and looks better.

And don't forget, in the Release Candidate 4 posts, there are 2 additional downloads that are patches for the Zeta Media VP's.....get those too! They're not included in the Zetas, but _should_ (we hope) be included in the 3.6.9 MediaVP's once and when they're released.

(just clarifying in the event that there were any potential questions arising regarding the VP patches in the RC post)
