I've got S:AH and INF and FSPort all working fine with mod.inis, but in the last campaign of Sol:AH the Tempest is broken and ends up as a Uly. It's supposed to be some kind of destroyer, so I guess I'm missing something.
My mod.ini includes
secondrylist = ,fsport, media_vps, inferno v1;
Any ideas on this one?

Have all the other Inferno ships shown up correctly? Cause I'm seriously scratching my head as to how you've managed to get a folder with a space in it to work. Unless that was a launcher limitation and using a mod.ini got you around it that simply shouldn't have worked.
If this is the first mission in S:AH that uses a ship from Inferno try renaming the folder and altering the mod.ini to something without a space.
-
Yeah, all the INF weapons and ships work otherwise. It's near the end of the fourth campaign, and this one ship doesn't show up properly.
PS my mod.ini doesn't have a space in 'inferno v1' it's a typo, and PPS I thought the 'no spaces in moddirs' thing was fixed in recent RCs? :)

Check it in FRED2....
-
You mean open it up and see what class the Tempest is supposed to be?
-
Lol i mean, see if you can place a Tempest in FRED2, if so, then it means you have the model files etc..
-
Ah but I only know it's 'ingame' name, not what class it's supposed to be. So I'd have to look that up too... except, if I don't have the files, it won't show up in the FRED list will it? :eek2:
-
Yes, becaus its a listed table entry, but do not worry about that, Simply place an EAD Tempest in FRED2, if it looks like a ulysses then you have to ask some Inferno bods about it.

Once upon a time, Shadow0000 was making us a shiny SCP version of S:AH, but that now has been put on an Inferno or BWops time schedule :sigh:
There are screenshots of it looking infinitely better however.

i believe the class of ship that the tempest belongs to is the GTD? Majesty

Apparently not, I tried to find my mod Robotech2 and the good old mod dir spaces message showed... (and as you can see there are no spaces in "Robotech2" :D

I don't think spaces are a problem anymore in the most recent builds.
