Title: Connecting video card to an external source

I have a Radeon 9800 Pro, and it has 2 ports on it, 1 VGA and 1 DVI. My monitor is attached to the VGA port. I was wondering if, with the help of a VGA Cable and VGA/DVI adapter, is it possible to connect and xbox 360 to the DVI port and have the X360 display on the monitor already attached to the video card?

Not unless that DVI port is either a DVI-in or a multiple-mode DVI in/out.  (Neither is likely unless that's a capture card... which I don't think it is.  It is most likely only DVI-out.)
