LOL Now, if they'd kept that sort of naming convention, I think there would be a lot more Paleantologists in the world ;)
-
See. It's not just modern Australian animals which are weird :D

Oi! I take exception to that!

LOL I know Australian animals are wierd. I've chatted to Grug ;)

I don't know what I'm more amazed about--the naming convention, or the concept of flesh-eating kangaroos. :D

I think both are cool. :D
Could you imagine a flock of ducks crossing the street...You honk your car horn at them...The ducks, instead of flying away, proceed to tear you and your car to pieces?
The news headline would read:
Carnivorous Ducks Devour Car and Driver! Motorists Flee in Terror!

Bs. Oooh we got evidence. We can accurately tell its 10-20 million years ago. Yeah right, bs.
Atleast 20 previously unknown species in the same site? Looks like the ppl who created these fakes couldent waite and decided to put them in one big spot for more news attention.
And seriously. Demon ducks of doom? WTF!? 0.o
-
Don't. We've already got an evolution/creationism thread, no need to turn this into another one.

**** off, it was a rant.
We all do one sometime or another.

I find your preachings ironic sometimes after reading your sig...
Letting morality get in the way of advising the man on how to get into a girl's pants. ****en sickening.

Well, to be fair, that is an0n that he's quoting in his sig.

One of my lecturers was telling us last year about a fossil platypus they found with teeth that looked uncannily like hot-cross-buns, so they wrote it up and went through all the proper channels to give it the name "Hotcrossbunidon", but it got rejected as a name. So they redid it as Kollikodon, which was as cvlose as they could get to hot cross bun tooth in greek :)

Mmm... most rants tend to have grain of truth, basic purpose, or hint of literacy though. Normally it's not just having a go at someone a) smarter than you and b)with a sense of humour.

I want a platypus. Or, a wombat.

OK, first off, just a reminder, you're an idiot.
Secondly, make me a fake fossil that intensive analysis by multiple experts around the world can't pick up as a fake. Then, find the same flaws in every fossil of the millions on the planet. Go.
-
Not to mention the fact that if you were faking stuff surely you'd come up with something more plausible than demon ducks of doom :D
-
wow @ this thread...........
-
sounds like something you'd expect to see on a Quake 3 fan/modding site. :D
