Title: How do you make a PCX pilot immage

I have the Pilot in my C:/games/freespace2/data/players/images and the PCX image is 160x120 what the hell is worng

BTW- You DL'd  fs2 i assume? Cos the full instructions are in the manual, I cant remember the specs off the top of my head but it needs to be 256 colour bit iirc.

I'm more interested of this:

Where is (are) the texture(s) for the HTL cockpit? I looked through all the media vp files, but I couldn't find any obvious names. I'd like to try and see how my own face would look in a Freespace craft's cockpit... :lol:

actually I do not see any reasons not to save the pilot image as a TGA file with alpha channel :)

If you want to carry on with pcx your image must have "clear green" background for transparency, use 256 color palette and pcx compression has to be disabled.

It has to be an 8-bit image. Most programs default to 24-bit.
