[Not meant as spam, just meant as something funny as hell]
-
That guy has problems. Anyone who thinks this is funny has problems.
-
zomg, did you not see they swapped his gamecube for one already broken....
Meh, ok no worries you dont have to like it.
-
I know someone always says it, but I have to point out that this is pretty damn old, and it truly warms my heart to see you laughing at a kid who had a particularly mean prank played on him. Personally I find that movie of those guys dragging a Gamecube behind their car for a few hundred metres, and then it still being playable much more entertaining, as it produces humour via wonderment, rather than dumb, derisive humour such as this.
-
It's just cruel and evil, really. Intended to inflict maximum hurt on someone, but assuage the persons guilty by saying 'oh, it's ok, it was just a fake'. Never mind they released a ****ing video to mock the poor kid.

Something akin to happy slapping the poor kid!
@ Dekker - his face is a picture tho! :drevil:

I just hope that when the kid grows up he gets his revenge, possibly doing the same thing with something the camera-owner holds dear, and we can get to see him crying too.
-
I think this is almost on the same level as the guy who filmed the eight-year-old getting freaked out by the thing on the computer screen.
This guy really was an asshole, though.

No, that was hilarious. I don't really understand the distinction between the two, but somehow this one is just cruel compared to that piece of comedy gold.
-
'Tis only the sick and twisted who could possibly find that funny. To videotape a guy torturing a kid with a prank like that... then release it? Just further proof that humanity's morality is nearly nonexistant.

You mean like.....
Print out a fake accident report, and show it to him when he wakes up, that says his car was stolen and ran off into a lake? :drevil:
-
LOL And put the description of the thief as 'Italian-looking with a large bushy moustache and wearing red Overalls', just to see how long it takes him to click ;)
-
I thought it was pretty funny.
-
it would be better if they removed that crappy emo **** and replaced it whith the music played durning the cat flogging scene in gummo :D
-
If you find that funny, you are sick and twisted. You should seek professional help.
-
ok, the factors deremineing if this is funny or crule that I do not know:
A)what did the kid do to the guys computer the earlier day?
B)was it realy a fake? (we never actualy saw the 'real' one)
-
Just made me want to punch the dork with the camera, not funny

I was thinking of the same thing...
Either the kid really seriously screwed up this guy's computer to have made him do that or the older brother is just a jerk who wants someone to assert his 'superiority' on.
If I were in that kid's place, I'd have gone postal on that guy... but that's assuming I like Gamecube... :D

if you must know i didnt laugh at this, but the holocaust movie i saw the other night kinda cracked me up abit.

Or put him in one of our nursing homes? :drevil: :drevil:

They're damn invincible. There's a video around of this Spanish(I think) games program, and they publicly tried to find out which of the current-gen (at the time) consoles can take the most damage.
The PS2 died straight away obviously, flimsy piece of crap. X-Box took quite a bit of punishment but finally gave up the goat when it have a huge dumbell dropped on it from a height. However, they colud not kill the 'Cube despite thier best efforts.
So they picked it up, and just threw it around on the concrete, kicked it around, and generally smashed it.
They then picked up the biggest chunk they could find and plugged it in.
Thu 'Cube booted up fine.
I've heard stories of people being completely unable to destroy thier NES. I once managed to whack my Game Boy Colour into the corer of a brick wall once, really bad whack. It ended up with a huge gash in it but the console didn't care and still works to this day.
Another friend of mine dropped his GBA by accident on a concrete hill, it went sliding down quite far, screen down. For some reason it didn't get any scratches and still doesn't care.
We're always using the Gamecube as a make-shift football for fun and is it bothered? Hell no. It screams, "ABUSE ME!"
<3 Nintendo rock.
-
Aye, Nintendo products are pretty much invincible.
-
Nintendo Power (long ago when I actually read it, think it was issue like 106 or something) got a lot of mail about invincible Nintendo products. One kid's Gameboy fell off a five-story building, just a couple of screen scratches. Another got run over; undamaged. A TV fell on top of another guy's N64; TV= trashed N64= unharmed.
-
I know what I'm building my next server out of, then.

the rumors of my sanity are completely and entirely exagerated :D

Siorry for bumpage i just wanted to point out this wasnt a random guy playing the trick. It was the boys elder brother. And as the oldest of four males. I can completely agree with where the urge to play tricks on siblings comes from. (in jest of course)
-
So, it's safe to assume that you could make a bulletproof vest using a bunch of GBA's. That would be awesome. Incredible protection and fun on the go!
-
now that's strange... my local Famicom lasted far longer than my American NES (and my SNES, almost) But, my NES did survive a three foot fall. Loaded Mario 3 just fine afterward (and was entirely OK until a few months later)
The Electrical components (AC Adaptor, etc.) well, now those were really prone to just breaking. Especially the SNES ones.
My Game Boy is pretty much a rock, on the other hand. I think it's outlasted every system I've ever owned.
-
My gameboy still goes strong as well.
