Someone I know is interested in Deux Ex modding, and I was wondering if any of you guys know stuff about it.

in order to mod deus ex, you need 3 fig leaves, a feather from a young sparrow, a pinch of soot burned from a fire lit from pine wood, and the blood of a young virgin.

I've heard of it and messed with it a little. The level editor is based on UnrealEd, so it's a bit easier to use. (Comes with a tutorial too, I think.)
I thiunk there's an SDK.

It shouldn't be that hard, all Shrike has to do is cut his finger.

Visit Warpstorm. ("http://www.warpstorm.com") Do it now.

I know there is a method, but all I see is madness.

Editing things like HL, UT/Deus Ex is no different than editing Freespace (other than the obvious things), theyre all easy as hell, because they were designed that way, just a matter of downloading the proper programs and modifying the files..

DX Game of the Year actually comes with the SDK. I think that it would be fun but I think it's harder than Half Life because at the moment, none of the 20+ campaigns in the works have been released, and many of them have been abandoned. I think it might be because they try to do something too ambitious because DX was so ambitious.
