Theres one for ya, I've not tried it myself. There is a mult co-op camp in FS2 anyway, operation templar, its a bit short though. If you whack the ai up to Insane it might last a bit more than 4 minutes :D

I really like playing co-op, too! (mostly because I'm afraid I'll suck horribly in PvP :nervous: )

If you're using SCP you should have the coop version of the main campaign in your mv_core.vp.

If you're not playing on SCP you damn well should be. Especially now that FS2NetD is back up and you can play online once again. (But if you insist on sticking with a 7 year old engine you can find the missions on the download page of my FAQ).

Remember to check Karajorma's FAQ. It tells you everything you need to know.

I'll be pleased if we then try a nice CooP campaign.

There are FS1-era co-op campaigns in the latest version of the FreeSpace Port. :)

The FRED Zone packs have plenty of great missions (like 50 or so together), most of which were PXO validated at one time. Then there are also the two X missions, which are mediocre at best but were validated long before any others.

If anyone makes a co-op mission, it should be tougher than, say, Aeos affair on insane. Having 2-16 alpha ones is a bit ludicrous.

Like, make all the enemies admiral, make them outnumber you inanely, uhhhh.... Something like that.

Way back in the day when I still had time to do serious FREDding I tried making my own campaign.  (That project ended in a... familiarly humbling fashion.)  I recall that, just for kicks, each of the missions had a 4-player counterpart.  I think I may still have them around somewhere, if anybody's interested.

More missions are always a good thing seeing as how no one FREDs for FS2 Multiplayer anymore.

I'm always looking for inspiration for Battlestar Galactica multiplayer missions too :)
