Title: Two questions...
Post by: Rictor on July 26, 2006, 06:12:49 pm
1. My fully legal copy of AVG anitvirus, which I purchased down at my local Mininova store, gives me warnings that this is my "last chance" to become legal and pay them money. It's been telling me to "become legal" for a while, but I don't like the sound of that "last chance" bit. Can it ever actually do anything, like disable itself or phone the mothership, or will it just keep giving me stern warnings and wagging its finger at me?

2. Should DMOZ (Open Directory) ever delist a site, once it's been submitted and accepted? I submitted a site a few months ago, only to find it's no longer there. It wasn't pornographic or violent or anything, and it was in the appropriate category as best I could figure out. What gives? Should I just submit it again, or email DMOZ? Does anyone have experience with this?

1. No idea why AVG would threaten you, worse it can do is lock up. AVG is free off their website anyway for personal use.

2. Never heard of it sorry.
