Title: freespace 2 with 7800GT

i have a problem running the game with a nvidia 7800gt, when first starting the game, the card wont be detected so that there isnt any 3D acceleration.

What version of the game? It sounds like you might be using retail, in which case, stop, and get the SCP. You don't hang around here much, so Karajorma's Freeespace FAQ (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/karajorma/FAQ/intro.html) would be a good place to start.

Do you have the latest drivers?

i actually got this working now.

yea i havent hung around here much, just got back into this game yesterday.

I hope this doesn't mean hell for my 7600gt when i get it up and running :blah:
