Title: How do I make a cockpit have a reflection?

How do I make a cockpit have a reflection?
I'm trying to reskin a few models, and I'm having trouble making the cockpits mirror the surrounding environment.
Help?

The env mapping uses the shine map. To be more exact the alpha channel in the shine map.

The alpha channel is greyscale. If you make a while square, this square on the model will 100% reflect the skybox/nebulas and plantes. You can control the 'shinyness' with the brightness.

In your case, just create an alpha channel. Make it black, except for the cockpit part.
