I swear to God, if they have Browder and Black doing cameos as Crichton and Aeryn in the Farscape parody, my brain will just turn to mush.
-
Is your brain turning to mush a good thing or a bad thing?
-
Ok, I'm guessing good, considering an0n's opinion of farscape.
-
Well, I think it's damned cool. Trippy, yes. But cool nonetheless.
Just had a thought; Imagine Daniel as Rigel. That would be so damned awesome, it would potentially detonate in a 20-gigaton explosion of awesomeness... well, maybe not, but it'd still be funny as hell.
-
thats well funny

Worked well in Farscape. Yes this is SG but it may work.

Anyone seen this yet? I'm only half way through and I've never laughed so hard at a sci-fi episode. :D
-
"Wait that didn't happen!"
...and of course:
"Jack... if they don't show up and we keep standing here they're going to think..."
-
they plugged farscape
well the episode ****ing rocked imho i laughed my ass of with the farscape thing hehe wizard of oz was good too :D
-
I thought the Team America parody was awesome. Shame about the ending though...
-
Oh, God was this a great episode. I (personally) felt that the show has been going down-hill the past two years, I am so glad to see the writers have some creativity left in them, and the cast can have fun. Now, if they brought Rick back permanently, that would be the best.
-
I thought this was going to be a shark jumping marathon, but this was actually pretty good.
-
My personal favorite was the Team America spoof.
-
I loved the Farscape one, just because Farscape is my now-second favorite scifi show, that position has been ursurped by the new BSG. But, man, that Team America one made me laugh so hard, my nose bled. Thats only happened two other times in my life.
Holy ****, I love Youtube. the Team America spoof (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmLiMgXJcu8) and the Farscape spoof (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOuahTogvls) and I forgot how good this one was, the Star Trek spoof (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoaE3rR0q1k)
-
so we finally meet the furlings :D
-
They made Browder play Stark instead of Chricton.
I am displeased.
-
I laughed and laughed
-
indeed it was funny but id rather see some orii get blown up :D
-
nah they like to have fun on the 100 and 200 and (hopefully) 300 episodes :)
-
You get to see the Ori being blown up in the next episode: Counterstrike.
And you get to see fully-grown Adria - played by the ridiculously ****ing beauitful Morena Baccarin.
Incidentally, the Stargate universe has stolen actors from / loaned actors to pretty much every other sci-fi series of the past 20 years:
- Andromeda: Brent Stait, Lexa Doig, Michael Shanks, Chris Judge
- The 4400: Brent Stait
- Jake 2.0: Keegan Connor Tracy
- Battlestar Galactica: Brent Stait (again), Aaron Douglas
- Seven Days: Brent Stait
- First Wave: Brent Stait (mother****er gets around)
- The Outer Limits: Brent Stait, Beau Bridges, Peter Stebbings
- Mutant-X: Peter Stebbings
- Firefly: Adam Baldwin, Morena Baccarin, Jewel Staite
- Doctor Who: Anna-Louise Plowman
- The X-Files: Brent-mother****ing-Stait again, Mitch Pileggi
- Birds of Prey: Mitch Pileggi
- The Lone Gunmen: Mitch Pillegi
- Enterprise: Brent Stait, Tucker Smallwood, Jolene Blalock
- Star Trek - Voyager: Robert Picardo
- Deep Space Nine: Robert Picardo
- Farscape: Ben Browder, Claudia Black
- The Dead Zone: Teryl Rothery
- Jeremiah: Teryl Rothery, Peter Stebbings
- Smallville: Teryl Rothery
And I'm sure there's a ****load more I'm missing.

qft.

Also add 'Connor Trinnier' to the Enterprise list, as he was the ever-so-wuvvable "Michael."
But still, no Wraith beats Steve:
"You do have names... right?"
"I am your doom!"
"Nah... How about Steve..."
-
I thought this was hilariously funny - out of the 'wormhole x-treme' departure-from-the-norm episodes, this had to be the most laugh-out-loud funniest by far, and for what it was, 200 delivered everything I'd hoped for and more, in spades.
Go the Teal'c-Shaft pitch the T-Man made to Marty! :p
Its great to see they can all make fun of themselves, and yet at the end the Isaac Asimov quotation brought it all together very nicely. A great show which I thoroughly enjoyed... 2x

Best conversation ever!
-
Nah, the best conversation was:
"It's a ship. And it goes through the gate...."
Or possibly the DOS quip from No Man's Land.

Or possibly the DOS quip from No Man's Land.
"Trust me, that was hilarious."
Edit: Download finally finished. Hi-****ing-larious. Although it was all great, the Farscape bit was just pure...
