Yes, I know you're (merkins) not all that bad, and it's not unique to America. But it is still quite funny.

wow, there is no way this is true. They must have had to ask a lot of people to get responses that crazy. 99.999% of people arent that stupid, although there is that .001%.

It's not that they're stupid, as you put it, it's more the general populace can be ignorant!

I have a theory, myself; America has pretty much the same idiocy ratio as other countries, but the increased number of population allows for greater depths of stupidity.
At least, I hope so.

I was going to say that "Well that means that surely China must have the dumbest people on Earth" and then I remembered hearing about a Chinese couple who went to the doctor cause they couldn't have children only to learn that kissing couldn't make you pregnant. :)

Finally someone clues on to the fact that Germany is not only evil, they are in fact part of the Axis of Evil. I've only been saying it for like ten years.

Well, this I can understand being an honest mistake, Germany being in the Axis Powers and all.
The rest of it was just funny though.

Well that's not really fair, as that whole speech was so utterly retarded i'm not surprised it confused most Americans.

At what period of the war?
CINC Combined Fleet changed at least twice.
-
Tojo I would assume, right? I don't think they expected people to start giving dates and detailed chains of command.
-
Wasn't Yamamoto the admiral of the Japanese fleet?
-
Yamamoto, Koga, and some guy whose name I'd have to look up.

Nagano is the one you're missing.

Yup.Killed when he was transported on a Mitsubishi GM-22 "Betty",if I remember well.
Mosque seems a French name, but I'll tell you its Italian-like:"mosca" is our word for both Moscow and fly(the insect, not the verb). It's pronuncitation is almost equal to mosque(just add an -a)
It's not the fist time Americans change italian words,it has already happened with "prosciutto",turned into "proshoot".
