Title: Linux VP tool

I've googled quite a bit for a Linux VP packager and / or depackager, Is there such a tool?

yes my VPCS2 but it's currently in an unstable state apparently.. i'll have to fix it up

i think there is a console on from a compile inside the fs2 source tree as well

That would be cfilearchiver. Can find details about it in one of taylor's posts in the cross-platform forum, not sure which but with search working it shouldn't be a problem :)
