Post by: NeoHunter on November 30, 2001, 09:34:00 am: I just had a few FreeSpace 2 games on PXO today and there were very little people. I went in at about 12 noon Singapore time. There were about only 6 players at most. Is multiplaying FreeSpace 2 dying out?

Anyway, that's not the strange thing. The strange thing is that none of the people I played with knew the existence of the Hard Light Productions.

But even with cable, it was quite laggy at times. And I saw all kinds of crazy but effective weapons and tactics.

And they all play Insane difficulty there. I managed to get only a lousy 36 kills today.

BTW the FS2 modding (HLP) and multiplayer communities are quite seperate for the most part (with some exceptions, like me (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)), so they may not know each other too well. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
