Title: Ernesto
Post by: WeatherOp on August 25, 2006, 10:40:25 pm
Just a lowly tropical storm right now fighting sheer, but nearly all global models show the same thing, a storm emerging into the GOM and possibly becoming a major hurricane, and then possibly heading towards area badly damaged by Katrina and Rita last year.

It looks like our first hurricane of the year will most likely be a costly one. :blah:

Ernesto? That's quite possibly the most unintimidating name for a raging vortex of destruction that I've ever heard.

There was another Ernesto not too long ago, it killed quite a few people in Latin America.
